On Sept. 24, former Member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and former Vice Chairman of Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress Li Tieying and his party paid a visit to DSIC, accompanied by Deputy Director of Standing Committee of the Liaoning Provincial People’s Congress Li Wenke, where DSIC leader Han Hui kept company with him during his visit.
Li listened to the report on DSIC’s industrial development and production capacity. At the production site of 300000 DWT-class drydock in No. 2 Factory, He made an inquiry on building period, deadweight tonnage and performance index of in-dock vessels ready for undocking with high spirit. He also appreciated the methodology of “one and a half vessels construction in dock” adopted by DSIC to enhance productivity, encouraging DSIC to continue to exert itself to further improve capability of development and design, and reserve more technology for high-value added vessels so as to raise enterprise core competency increasingly.
