On August 24th, Yang Zhizhong, the General Manager of DSIC, met with Kaki Ota, the Consultant of Japan Maritime Company, and his delegation at the headquarters of DSIC. Han Hui, a leader of DSIC, and related department heads attended the meeting.
Kaki Ota and his delegation visited DSIC’s steel distribution center and the production site of civilian vessels, visited the field of steel processing, product construction and other processes, got the information on production cycle and construction management of the products under construction on the site. At the meeting, Yang Zhizhong discussed with Kaki Ota and his delegation about the trend of the ship market and the price change of the mainstream ship model in the future. They had the in-depth exchange on ship model development and design, business scope, cost control and other aspects, and exchanged opinions on how to effectively avoid the risks of ship enterprise management.
Yang Zhizhong introduced the recent production and operation situation of DSIC, and also the development of the industry to the visitors. He pointed out that as a leading enterprise of ship assembly in China, DSIC has accumulated strong strength in the fields of military industry, civil ship and offshore engineering, and now it mainly receives the orders of three ship types represented by super-large bulk carrier, crude oil tanker and container ship. In recent years, Dali Company of DSIC has established a deep cooperative relationship with Japan Maritime Company through close business contacts. DSIC hopes to carry out further exchanges and cooperation, learn from each other in ship type R&D, cost control, intelligent manufacturing and other aspects on the basis of the close cooperation between Dali Company and Nippon Ocean, so as to achieve a win-win situation of mutual benefit.
After visiting the production and construction sites of DSIC, Kaki Ota said he has gained a further understanding of DSIC and a stronger connection is established. In the past cooperation, Japan Maritime Company has established a good partnership with Dali Company of DSIC. Japan Maritime Company is willing to continue to strengthen cooperation with DSIC in the future, and to carry out further exchanges and cooperation in various ways to maintain this deep relationship for a long time.
