On June 29, the second intelligent VLCC (hull No.83) built for China Merchants Energy Shipping Co., Ltd. finished the seven-day sea trial, the completeness of which scored 97.8, making the best record for the series of VLCC.
Based on the building experiences of the first intelligent VLCC, DSIC carried out and finished all works for the VLCC according to the middle schedule. During the seatrial, the test inspection was finished at 100% under the tight cooperation between CMES and DSIC.
