On June 10, 6# 9250TEU Container Vessel constructed for CMA CGM by DSIC was named as “CMA CGM Thames” and delivered, where DSIC Deputy GM Chen Yongyi attended the naming ceremony.
During construction of this vessel, DSIC has positively raised the pass rate of inspection items while doing well in self-check, optimized the sequence of inspection items and communicated with quality management department actively so as to ensure the work and blocks in order. In response to the purpose of energy saving and emission reduction in DSIC actively, complete the commissioning of M/E and A/E fuel units and incinerator independently so as to save the service fee for service engineers from equipment manufacturers and shorten the period of commissioning and acceptance test. Conduct the pre-commissioning confirmation on the equipment in accordance with the requirements in the list strictly, which has received an unanimous compliment from the shipowners for not only guaranteeing the efficiency of test inspection, but improving the quality of construction.
