Lately, the first coal carrier was launched smoothly by DSIC Changxing Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
The vessel is 111m in loa, 19m in breadth molded, 5.06m in design draft, 5414 tons in deadweight, 6000m3 in cargo hold capacity, tailor made for Japan Toyomasukaisou Co., Ltd by Changxing Shipyard. The construction technology is quite complicated and the requirements of installation accuracy are also relatively high for loading/unloading equipment. During her construction, all departments involved have overcome mountains of difficulties so as to ensure her production progress and construction quality, which has been highly approved by Japanese shipowners.
Since the beginning of the year, Changxing Shipyard has got full loaded in production, where there are 8 vessels under construction up to now. the successful launching of the first coal carrier has played a good role in promoting the production this year. And then, Changxing Shipyard will continue to conduct follow-up construction with high quality standard so as to ensure a due delivery to the shipowner.
